Acqua Summer 2011

Welcome to my blog! This blog was written by an exchange student who had been to Mexico for a short summer program. During my sojourn in Mexico, I had been studying in Tech De Mont, a prestigious, rich and well-recognized international university in Mexico. The courses that I took include basic Spanish and Introduction to the Mexican's Culture. I was a Singaporean undergraduate in National University of Singapore, NUS.

This blog is divided into different topics according to various themes and period: Arrival to Mex, Memoir's of my host family (8 parts).

At Guang Zhou - 24 May 2011

After a wonderful trip from Singapore to Guang Zhou, we went to a nearby restaurant in the airport as all my friends were "hungry" for WIFI. In these days and age, it seems that no one can really live without Facebook. Until one of us found no access, Lizzy commented that Facebook is banned in China, much to my surprise. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant dinner at this restaurant.

Chic restaurant with a wonderful background.
I am in love with this photo!
The feelings of dining in such places delight me...

Apparently, we spent more than one hour there...
I enjoyed every moment...

@ BaiYunPort in Guang Zhou

All my friends were simply busy with their phone,
a gadget that people nowadays simply can't live without.
Stella was 3G chatting with her mother!
Let's see what the other two were doing!

Meiqi needed to ask her family members to transfer money to her.
Khai was experimenting with his camera.
It was around 6pm in Guang Zhou,
and many shops were still opened, something which I was glad.

Here comes our food!
Stella must be in love with her soup!

I really love the way I took this photo.
The foreground and background contrasted with each other pretty nicely.
And it speaks about where we were and what we were doing.
The use of size to bring out the subject etc were good.
It was nice that Khai was holding on to his camera!

Sometimes, I really love the way she posed!
This photo, in my opinion, is pretty hilarious as everything on her right was orderly arranged like as though she was advertising for this restaurant. Haha...
I am sure she takes delight in learning Spanish :)

And me.
99% of the time, I never look pretty in photographs.
You can expect to see lesser of me :P

I only ordered one drink. And this was it. It tasted great!
As I badly needed to hydrate myself after all my water was drained during the check-in.
Goodbye Guang Zhou, I am flying to Los Angeles now!
