We've finally arranged the transportation... Please let me know if you have any doubts...
For those of you who are arriving in Mexico on Tuesday, May 24th, you will be responsible for either 1) seeking your own means of transportation or 2) waiting overnight for transportation provided by the International Programs Office on the next day.
If you are arriving at the Mexico City Airport on May 24th and do NOT wish to travel back with transportation provided by the International Programs Office, you can take the Primera Plus bus to Queretaro. However, if you wish to ride back with the International Programs Office, you may make reservations to stay overnight at a hotel and meet us in the Mexico City Airport on Wednesday, May 25th. Please meet us at the McDonalds in Terminal 1 at 8:00 am on Wednesday, May 25th. The bus will leave promptly at 8:30 am.
For those arriving on Wednesday, May 25th, the International Programs office has arranged transportation for you from Queretaro or Mexico City airport to campus.
For those of you flying into the Mexico City Airport, please plan to meet us at the McDonalds in Terminal 1 at 8:00 am on Wednesday, May 25th. If your flight lands in Terminal 2, Mexico City has a shuttle that will take you to Terminal 1. If your flight arrives after 8:00 am, there will be a representative from the International Programs Office to assist you in finding transportation to Queretaro until 7 pm. Please meet at the McDonald´s in Terminal 1 on Wednesday, May 25th.
For those of you arriving to the Queretaro Airport on Wednesday, May 25th, a representative from the International Programs Office will be waiting for you at 1:30 pm to transport you to campus. There will also be another bus picking you up at 7:30 pm if your flight arrives later.
The transportation arranged by the International Programs Office will be arriving straight to campus where the host families will be waiting for you.
We have attached a file with further instructions on how to take the Primera Plus bus at Mexico City´s Airport to Queretaro as well as a schedule of orientation activities. If you are planning on taking the Primera Plus bus, you will need to catch a taxi at the bus terminal and go to your host family.
For those of you who are arriving on Thursday, May 26th in Mexico City, you will need to take the Primera Plus to Queretaro bus terminal and take a taxi to your host family home once you arrive to the bus terminal in Queretaro.
