Subject: AcquaSummer 2011 - Ready to go?
Hi all,
This quick email is just to get in touch with you before you leave for Mexico next week. Hope all of you are having a relaxing time after the exams, and are looking forward to the summer programme in Queretaro!
1. Online Application Form / Selection of Courses
I have just recently heard from a few of you that you were still having trouble with the online application system, as well as with your course selections. Montse has just updated me that she has been in touch to solve these issues. If any of you are still facing difficulties with regard to this, please let me know ASAP.
2. Airport Pick-Up
I understand from some of you that Campus Queretaro has not updated you about the details of the airport pick-up. I am checking with Montse about this, but I would like to check if some of you have already heard from Queretaro about this, or if all of you have not heard at all. Let me know? I’d also like to confirm that all of you have already provided my office with your flight arrival details? Thanks!
3. Payment for Remainder of Accommodation Fees / Optional Trips
Some of you were asking about the modes of payment available after you arrive in Queretaro. I’ve been informed that you should make payment in cash (pesos only), and the process can be completed at the bank branch within Campus Queretaro. ATM facilities are available at the bank branch should you wish to withdraw cash from there. Personally, I would recommend that you bring enough cash along with you to complete the outstanding payment, as the exchange rate for cash is always better compared to the rate charged for overseas transactions. However, I leave this to your personal preference and discretion.
4. Module Mapping
I will be providing an update about this very shortly, so please bear with me as I seek to iron out a few more niggling issues.
Cheers!
